  Chief of the Gilan University of Medical Sciences, Muhammad Taghi Ashoubi, informed reporters on Tuesday that eight more patients had died earlier and that one intubated patient in the intensive care unit had passed away. Gilan Medical Examiner is looking into these patients' cause of death. Upon their transfer to the 17 Shahrivar Children's Hospital, five healthy infants from Qaem Hospital were reported, according to him.

  Adekola Adeshina, 48, was arrested by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command on suspicion of defiling his neighbor's 10-year-old daughter.  SP Josephine Adeh, the command's spokesperson, said in a statement on Sunday, March 26, 2023, that the suspect was apprehended by operatives attached to the Apo Divisional Police Headquarters and confessed to carrying out the heinous act on multiple occasions.

  After last month's election resulted in a hung parliament, a former Maoist leader who oversaw a decade-long uprising against Nepal's monarchy was chosen as prime minister for the third time in coalition with the main opposition. The opposition communist Unified Marxist-Leninist (UML) party and other relatively small organisations will support Pushpa Kamal Dahal in leading the new government for the first two years of the five-year term, according to party officials on Sunday. Pushpa Kamal Dahal continues to go by his pen name Prachanda, which means "terrible" or "fierce." President Bidhya Devi Bhandari's adviser Tika Dhakal informed the news agency Reuters that "he has been appointed and commands the support of a vast majority of parliament." Prachanda will take the oath of office on Monday and, later this week, demonstrate his majority in the 275-member house. Seven parties have formally endorsed him.

  The housewife and maid had little concern when Mohammad Fajar, Siti's son, started experiencing health issues at the end of August this year. The young boy, who was five years old, had just celebrated Indonesia's Independence Day at home in Medan with his family. He used his mother's phone to record videos of himself laughing and dancing. Fajar passed away on September 15, however. He may have died from suspected renal failure brought on by the widely available medications to help him recover from his cold rather than the illness itself.

However, it turns out that Apple has been gathering user data on its own, despite its users having adjusted their settings to prevent the corporation from doing so. Apple is currently being sued. The software company Mysk's Tommy Mysk and Talal Haj Bakry, who work as app developers and security experts, recently discovered that iOS sends "every tap you make" to Apple from inside one of the business's apps. The developers claim that attempts to prevent collecting this data, such as using the Settings option to "block the sharing of Device Analytics completely," did not affect the data's transmission.

Kristy Marie Siple, 35, has been charged with the murder of her 5-year-old daughter who she deliberately sold for sex to her male friend, police say . According to police documents, Kristy Marie accepted money from a man who wanted to have sex with her child, Kamarie Holland who was just aged 5.   Kamarie, who lived in Columbus, Georgia, US with her mom, was found dead 13th Dec, 2021 in an abandoned house just across the state border in Phenix City. The mum had just reported her daughter missing that morning. After a two-week investigation, police arrested the mum on December 28 and charged her with the murder of the child. Another person involved, 37-year-old man Jeremy Williams, is also accused of murder in the case.   According to police, the mum took the money from Williams and let him rape her daughter, local Georgia news agency, CBS affiliate WRBL reported.   Military sources said  Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru   was on a trip to Kaduna when he died in an air crash with some of his aides. Efforts were on to locate the wreckage of the plane and evacuate the remains of the victims. His mission to Kaduna was said to be “official.” The Nigerian Air Force, in a statement by its Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet confirmed the crash. The statement said: “An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. ” The cause of the crash is still being ascertained.   A Nigerian lady by name Dorothy Edet, has come out to share her heartbreaking story of surviving rape several times which she said started from her childhood.  The woman, while speaking with newsmen during the funeral of Iniobong Umoren, the jobseeker who was raped in Akwa Ibom, recounted how she has been raped by close relatives, strangers as well as people she went to sell her wares to when she was a child.  In her words, ''My name is Dorothy Edet. I am actually a survivor of rape. I understand what it means. When people talk about rape, I also want to air out my voice.

Governor Hope Uzodinma's country home in orlu Imo state has been attacked by unknown gunmen.  It was gathered they invaded the Governor’s residence in Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area in early hours of Saturday. They reportedly killed two security men on duty before torching it. It was also learnt vehicles parked at the compound and part of the building were affected by the fire. Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, confirmed the incident. According to him: “It is true but the information is not still clear. It is not true that several security men lost their lives. About two security men on duty at the governor’s house were killed.
